First and foremost, I am a 45 year old Male and the sole owner and photographer for Discreet Silhouettes.
Photography has been an interest and hobby of mine for years, but for the past 7 years I have focused heavily on improving my skills with the camera, lighting and editing. My shoot rates reflect not the hours I spend shooting and editing but rather my level of experience and quality of the final product you will receive.
Discreet Silhouettes is based in Missoula, MT and services the immediate area. Sessions outside of the service area are available on a case by case basis, and require estimated travel and venue costs to be paid up front along with the standard booking fee.
I understand the concerns models have about being alone in an intimate setting with a stranger, therefore I always recommend and welcome having a friend, partner, spouse or other individual accompany you to your session for your comfort and security.
Discreet Silhouettes is my secondary photography brand. I have chosen to separate out this genre as I feel that the intimate nature demands respect for individual privacy. Boudoir photography is not for everyone and I chose this path not to hide my activity, but to separate it to solely be seen by those who appreciate and seek out this genre of art.
A limited number of photos may be posted on the Discreet Silhouettes instagram and reddit accounts for marketing purposes. I offer a 20% session fee discount to clients who opt in to allowing your photos to be used for online marketing purposes on these platforms.
I rely primarily on word of mouth and client referrals for the majority of my shoots, so please, if you know someone that may be interested in capturing their beauty please send them my way.
I reserve the right to refuse service at my discretion. This genre requires a high level of trust and comfort between all parties. If I do not feel we have a good working rapport the session can be cancelled at any point during the process, up to and including on the day of the shoot.
